READ THIS DISCLAIMER BEFORE USING MUSHIN HUB BOXING OR MUSHIN HUB PHYSICAL THERAPY. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE OR CANNOT COMPLY, DO NOT USE THESE APPLICATIONS.

1. Not a Medical Device

Mushin Hub Physical Therapy is a general-purpose wellness and self-monitoring tool. It is NOT:

  • A medical device as defined by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) under 21 U.S.C. § 321(h);
  • Cleared or approved by the FDA, CE-marked under EU MDR 2017/745, or certified under any other medical device regulatory framework;
  • A substitute for clinical assessment, diagnosis, or treatment by a licensed healthcare professional.

    • Joint-angle and range-of-motion measurements produced by the Application are derived from camera-based AI pose estimation. These measurements are APPROXIMATIONS only and carry no clinical validity or diagnostic reliability.

    ## 2. Not Medical Advice

    Nothing within any Mushin Hub Application — including but not limited to AI-generated feedback, coaching cues, range-of-motion metrics, technique analysis, or any other output — constitutes:

  • Medical advice, diagnosis, prognosis, or treatment recommendations;
  • Physical therapy treatment, clinical rehabilitation, or supervised medical exercise;
  • A substitute for consultation with a licensed physician, orthopedic surgeon, physical therapist, athletic trainer, or other qualified healthcare provider.

    • ALWAYS CONSULT YOUR PHYSICIAN OR QUALIFIED HEALTHCARE PROVIDER BEFORE BEGINNING ANY EXERCISE OR REHABILITATION PROGRAM.

    ## 3. Physical Activity Risk Acknowledgment (Boxing)

    You expressly acknowledge and agree that:

  • Physical exercise, including boxing-style training, carries an inherent and unavoidable risk of physical injury, including but not limited to: muscle strains, joint injuries, contusions, fractures, head trauma, and cardiovascular events.
  • Mushin Hub Boxing provides AI-generated coaching feedback derived from visual pose analysis. It is NOT a licensed boxing coach, personal trainer, or certified athletic professional.
  • AI feedback may be inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate for your individual physical condition, skill level, or health status.
  • You assume full and sole responsibility for any injury, illness, or adverse outcome resulting from your use of the Application.

    • ## 4. Pre-Existing Conditions

    You represent and warrant that, prior to using Mushin Hub Boxing or Mushin Hub Physical Therapy:

  • You are in good physical health and are not aware of any condition that would make physical exercise dangerous for you;
  • You have consulted a licensed physician if you have any pre-existing cardiovascular, musculoskeletal, neurological, or other health condition;
  • You are not currently under medical instruction to avoid physical activity.

    • ## 5. Emergency Situations

    The Applications cannot monitor your vital signs, detect medical emergencies, or contact emergency services.

    STOP ALL ACTIVITY AND CALL EMERGENCY SERVICES IMMEDIATELY (911 in the US; 999 in the UK; 112 in the EU; 191 in Thailand) if you experience: chest pain, tightness, or pressure; shortness of breath; severe dizziness or fainting; sudden severe pain; numbness or weakness; or any other symptom you believe constitutes a medical emergency.

    6. Assumption of Risk and Release

    BY USING MUSHIN HUB BOXING OR MUSHIN HUB PHYSICAL THERAPY, YOU VOLUNTARILY ASSUME ALL RISKS OF PHYSICAL INJURY OR HEALTH COMPLICATIONS ASSOCIATED WITH PHYSICAL EXERCISE AND WITH RELIANCE ON AI-GENERATED FEEDBACK.

    TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, YOU RELEASE AND DISCHARGE MUSHIN HUB, ITS DEVELOPERS, OFFICERS, AND AGENTS FROM ANY AND ALL LIABILITY FOR PERSONAL INJURY, PROPERTY DAMAGE, OR DEATH ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THESE APPLICATIONS.

    ## 7. Jurisdiction-Specific Rights

    Nothing in this Disclaimer limits rights you may have under applicable consumer protection, product liability, or personal injury law in your jurisdiction. Some jurisdictions do not permit exclusion of liability for personal injury; in such jurisdictions, the above exclusions apply only to the maximum extent permitted by law.
